In one paragraph
Ghost Writer is voice typing for Windows that runs on the user's own PC. Hold a key, talk, and the words appear in almost any app, punctuated and tidied; it can also fix and rewrite selected text, take spoken "Hey Ghost" commands and keep searchable voice notes. Speech is turned into text on the PC, so nothing the user says is uploaded. It is a free beta, by invitation, for Windows 10 and 11 (64-bit), made by Ghost Media Works. Current version: 6.8.
